CannedFruit marketed by ApulianFoodLine is produced with rigorous controls that, nowadays, must ensure the product Quality, Traceability and Honesty. Our CannedFruit is divided into Marmalades, Jams and ExtraJams. Before understanding what kind of manufacturing process they are under, it must be done a precise distinction between them, so our customers can comprehend which are the differences.
Marmalade is nothing but a product made of Sugar and CitrusFruit (Grapefruit, Citron, Orange, Clementine, Lemon) where the fruit quantity contained must be at least 20%. Jam, however, is a product made of Sugar and FruitPulp (or purée) where the minimum percentage of fruit used must be not less than 35%. Finally, ExtraJam contains in each jar a compound made at least of 45% of pulp.
Fruit used for these CannedProducts comes from exclusively Apulian parcels of land, with guaranteed traditional processing methods starting from the plantation to the hand-picking of the fruit. After the harvesting, there is the husking that, differently from the industrial chains, here is still done by hand. Our TypicalCannedFruit is exclusively composed by Fruit and Sugar, absolutely without thickeners, colorants and preservatives, so as to guarantee a unique quality for a better health and physical well-being.
