Canned Fruit

Canned Fruit marketed by Apulian Food Line is produced with rigorous controls that, nowadays, must ensure the product Quality, Traceability and Honesty. Our Canned Fruit is divided into Marmalades, Jams and Extra Jams. Before understanding what kind of manufacturing process they are under, it must be done a precise distinction between them, so our customers can comprehend which are the differences.

Marmalade is nothing but a product made of Sugar and Citrus Fruit (Grapefruit, Citron, Orange, Clementine, Lemon) where the fruit quantity contained must be at least 20%. Jam, however, is a product made of Sugar and Fruit Pulp (or purée) where the minimum percentage of fruit used must be not less than 35%. Finally, Extra Jam contains in each jar a compound made at least of 45% of pulp.

Fruit used for these Canned Products comes from exclusively Apulian parcels of land, with guaranteed traditional processing methods starting from the plantation to the hand-picking of the fruit. After the harvesting, there is the husking that, differently from the industrial chains, here is still done by  hand. Our Typical Canned Fruit is exclusively composed by Fruit and Sugar, absolutely without thickeners, colorants and preservatives, so as to guarantee a unique quality for a better health and physical well-being.
